This Tuesday, during the presentation of the results of the GDP and the Indicator for Monitoring the Economy, the Dane revised downwards the economic growth figures for the years 2019 and 2020, after announcing a new statistical monitoring methodology.
Under this new criterion, in 2019, the growth of the economy would have grown 3.2%. The figure is lower than the 3.3% that had been established for that year.
On the other hand, after the review, During 2020, the Colombian economy contracted 7.0% and not 6.8% as reported.
