Dairy workers union approved preliminary agreement with employers

The officials grouped in the Federation of Workers of the Dairy Industry (FTIL) met yesterday in a national assembly, and approved a series of points, among which the pre-agreement reached with the employers at midnight last Friday 5 Now it is necessary to know the resolution that the industralists take.

Another of the points addressed and approved was the ratification that a fired official from the Conaprole company maintains her source of work, according to the instances that have been maintained, both by the PIT-CNT and the FTIL. The resolutions reached were reported through a statement accessed by Diario La R.

Among the issues discussed and voted on by the officials, it was decided to reject the reform project of the Social Security Law that the current Government intends to implement, increasing the age to access retirement and reducing the amounts of new retirements.

In relation to OSEPI (Union of former PILI dairy company), the Federation resolved “to demand that the workers of the former Pili company be considered for the project to reopen the industrial plant that resides in Parada Esperanza de Paysandú ”.

Regarding the situation of the Dairy replenishers, it was defined “to remain attentive to the context raised some time ago referring to the intention of trying to affect the source of work of the companies that carry out the replenishment task”.
