Cynthia Tarragó can compete

The director of Electoral Processes of the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE), Carlos María Ljubetic, in an interview with Radio 1000, clarified that former deputy Cynthia Tarragó, recently deported from the United States, has no impediment to present a candidacy in the next elections generals.

He clarified that the former legislator is fully authorized after having served her sentence abroad.

He explained, in contact with the media, that only those people who are serving final and enforceable sentences cannot participate in the electoral process.
