After intelligence work, Cusco Anti-Drug agents seized a large amount of marijuana and cocaine alkaloids and arrested a subject near the Santa Martha urbanization in the San Jerónimo district.
Richard Alvitez (40), is the individual who showed a suspicious attitude, observing everywhere, being intervened and during the preliminary personal search, remains of greenish grass with characteristics of cannabis sativa marijuana were found, likewise, a bag with a powdery crystalline substance, apparently cocaine alkaloid, was found, thus being that the person intervened in the initial interview agreed to dedicate himself to the sale of drugs.
Subsequently, the intervened, voluntarily, led the PNP personnel to his home, inside which they found large bags containing a total of 15 circular packages containing remains, stems and leaves apparently dried cannabis sativa (marijuana).
The agents, when carrying out the field test, obtained a positive result for marijuana, making an approximate preliminary weight of 33,278 kilograms, also 115 grams of cocaine alkaloid.
The Police, when proceeding with the search in one of the environments, found a digital weight scale, a gram scale and a small red Roman scale, communicating the details of the intervention and facts, to the Anti-Drug Prosecutor of Cusco, who ordered that personnel continue with the proceedings in order to establish the corresponding criminal responsibilities.
