Cuban hotel ready for the 2022 Cocktail World Cup

Tourism authorities of this resort indicated today that the Hotel Meliá Internacional Varadero is ready for the 2022 Cocktail World Cup to be held in November.

The spokespersons pointed out that the meeting is scheduled for next November 4 to 9 and corresponds to its version number 69.

Such preparation was corroborated by the envoys of the International Bartender Association (IBA) that supervises this type of meeting at a global level at the time.

This hotel facility is part of the properties of the Cuban group Gran Caribe and is managed by Meliá Hotels International.

The hotel presents quality products, impeccable service, cleanliness and the good work of its staff, elements that make this resort the perfect venue for the great international cocktail event.

According to the statement published by the Cuban Bartenders Association (ACC) on its Facebook page, the hotel is a magical and incomparable environment to host the competition.

With a convention area that exceeds two thousand square meters (m2) in rooms and alternative locations next to the pool, the beach and the gardens, Meliá Internacional Varadero has excellent facilities to host the event.

Added to this is the variety of accommodation options in standard rooms, junior suites and suites, and the gastronomic range that includes a boulevard with more than 20 culinary spaces.

The production of spirits associated with the cultivation of sugar cane, together with the rise of bars and entertainment establishments in the 20th and 21st centuries, contributed important elements to the development of the Cuban cocktail tradition.

Mixes such as the Mojito, the Daiquirí and the Cuba Libre today enjoy international fame, and the island’s bartenders have achieved recognition in important world competitions.
