In 2024, Ordaz, the only Cuban with the category of International Master without distinction of sex, reconquered the female chess throne on the island. Then, she put in a remarkable performance in the final rounds to finish with the same cumulative total as Leannet Bosch from Santiago.
In the tiebreaker series, agreed in the Blitz modality, the low return player took advantage of her greater experience to ensure a success that had eluded her in the previous four years.
