CSS asked the workers in this department who have been on strike since last Monday to return to their jobs so as not to continue harming patients.
Despite the fact that the authorities of the Social Security Fund (CSS) called for dialogue with the officials of the entity’s National Purchasing Directorate, they have not responded to the call for a negotiating table in which they begin to address the concerns of this staff.
The CSS informed that they expect the leaders of this personnel this Friday, June 3, at 10 in the morning, in room 44, floor 4 of building 519 in Clayton.
According to the authorities, this dialogue will be headed by the general secretary and national directors of the CSS, which is why the entity asked the leaders of the National Purchasing Directorate to inform them who will be the officials who will participate in this first session.
Through a statement, the entity said that it reaffirms its commitment to serve, for which it is transforming the purchasing system, in order to achieve efficiency and savings in the acquisition of medicines and supplies through agile and transparent processes based on the principles that govern public contracting to guarantee a better service to the insured.
In the communication issued by the CSS, the workers of this department who have been on strike since last Monday were asked to return to their jobs so as not to continue harming patients.
