Through a Twitter Space, Sofía told her version to Carlos Cortés and fashion communicator Diana Lucía Gómez.
The teenager said that what happened to María Juliana Ruiz was a “formal greeting. There wasn’t a long exchange or anything, or at least I didn’t notice.”
He also confirmed that the person who really came to greet them was Iván Duque.
“They were very cordial greetings, but in reality the one who came to greet them one by one was Iván Duque, not his wife, he only stopped by for a second to say something to Antonella, because their children and Antonella played soccer in the same academy”, he affirmed.

“He told him good luck with the games, something very short but very kind,” Sofia added.
Although Petro’s daughter clarified what happened, Hundreds of Internet users disagreed with Ruiz’s attitude, which they described as “badly educated.”
