Vice President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner affirmed today that “to govern is to manage tensions in favor of the majority” and postulated her conviction that “history is also built in the face of adversity”, when she led, together with President Alberto Fernández, the act for the centenary of the creation of YPF, in the Buenos Aires area of Tecnópolis.
“I can admit that when there is a high remuneration for work we have inflationary tensions, but we must concentrate on governing is managing tensions and doing it in favor of the great majority,” declared the Vice President, in a message that reviewed the historical events surrounding the development of YPF and the strategic hierarchy that successive governments gave or not gave it.
The president of the Senate also reviewed her management in economic matters and stated: “With defects, with errors and with manners that many did not like, our political space found a way to get Argentina out of debt.”
“We recovered YPF and we also paid the corralito to the Alianza”, stressed Cristina Fernándezin a speech in which he also recommended that whoever wants “govern without tension or conflict that runs for the Presidency of Switzerland”.
The Vice President marked contrasts between her efforts at the head of the Executive Power and the Government of Cambiemos and requested the transmission of a video in which Nicolás Dujovne (former Minister of Economy of Mauricio Macri) admitted the low level of debt of companies and families during the Kirchner administration. “Dujovne used to say that we were eccentric for not putting Argentina in debt, how barbaric,” she said ironically.
In the review of his management, he also pointed out that wages throughout Argentina grew “78 points”, but, he warned, they fell by 20% in the following four years.

In addition, he recalled the criticism that his government received, ten years ago, from some media outlets when the expropriation of 51% of YPF was decided.
“It was not a dogmatic decision,” he clarified about the nationalization of YPF, but it was about “recovering hydrocarbon sovereignty for the Argentines.”

The vice president expressed her “solidarity” with the women who mobilized throughout the country to remember the seventh anniversary of the first “Ni una Menos” mobilization and said that “always before physical violence there is symbolic violence, that of the word “.
Fernández assured that “as the first female president of this country I can teach about symbolic violence.”
“Right now, a Ni Una Menos mobilization is taking place. All my solidarity with women, those who suffer physical violence, but let me tell you that always before physical violence against women there is symbolic violence, that of the word,” he said at the end of his speech.
The mobilization for a new anniversary of the first Ni Una Menos march brought together thousands of representatives of political, social and feminist organizations who in the main cities of Argentina called for the “end of sexist violence.”
Cristina was optimistic about the possibility of “Argentina becoming a major supplier of energy to the world” and demanded that the Techint company “bring its production to the country.”
“The balance of 2021 tripled that of 2020. And it is a very important input for the entire economy, for the entire industry. If we prefer them instead of foreign companies, which bring the production line to Argentina, they still have a oven turned off from the macrismo era,” he said.

He assured that in Argentina not only the “Néstor Kirchner” gas pipeline is going to be built, but “many” more.
