Metro authorities reported that there is no service from Indios Verdes to Guerrero on Line 3.
“System personnel work in the area due to an incident. The provisional service offered from Hidalgo to the University. Take forecasts,” they said.
Meanwhile, the Mexico City prosecutor’s office assured that an investigation file has already been opened due to the accident and that the capital’s government secretary, Martí Batres, and the head of Public Security, Omar García Harfuch, will give a press conference near the the place of the scene.
In a brief interview, García Harfuch confirmed the death of one person, four people trapped, of which one has already been rescued.
In addition, he said that work is already underway to identify the deceased person, whose data will be released in the next few minutes, he noted that the Metro and the Mexico City prosecutor’s office will report the causes of the accident.
