COVID in Mexico: 19,132 infections and 76 deaths are recorded in 24 hours

The incidence rate of accumulated cases is 3,357.2 per 100,000 inhabitants, while the distribution by sex, in confirmed deaths, shows a male predominance of 62%. The median age overall is 64 years.

The entities with the most infections are Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, Sonora, Puebla, Veracruz and San Luis Potosí. Together they make up 65% of all accumulated cases in the country.

In addition, there are 615,481 suspected cases of COVID in the country; as well as a total of 8,156,244 who tested negative and it is estimated that there are 306,389 active at this time.

Until January 14, 2022, 318 million 648,834 infections (3 million 120,435 new cases) and 5 million 518,343 deaths (7,942 new deaths) are reported worldwide. The global lethality is 1.7%.
