Covid-19 positivity remains at 23.3% in the last 24 hours

With 3,248 new cases in the country of COVID-19, they closed the last 24 hours according to the epidemiological report issued this Friday by the Ministry of Education (MINSA), which shows a positivity of 23.3%.

The authorities highlighted that in the last 24 hours, 3 deaths were registered, for a total of 8,202 deaths and a fatality rate of 1.0%.

Epidemiology of the Minsa also revealed that the areas with the most new cases are Juan Díaz, Penonomé, San Francisco, Monagrillo and Chitré.

To date, in Panama there are 803,223 accumulated cases of Covid-19 and 771,367 people recovered, while 13,911 new tests have been applied.

Active cases total 23,654 throughout the country, of which 23,471 are in home isolation and 183 hospitalized. Those in isolation are divided into 23,424 at home and 47 in hotels. Those hospitalized are 158 in the ward and 25 in the ICU.

At the same time, 519,976,403 confirmed accumulated cases of Covid-19 are registered in the world; In addition, 459,558,795 people recovered and 6,285,169 deaths for a lethality of 1.2%.
