Likewise, the report indicates that the incidence rate of accumulated cases is 4,276.9 per 100,000 inhabitants and that the first 10 entities that accumulate the highest number of cases are: Mexico City, State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco , San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora, which together make up 64% of all the accumulated cases registered in the country.
As of today’s information cutoff, there are 28,445 active cases registered with an incidence rate of 21.9 per 100,000 inhabitants (from February 21 to March 6, 2022).
The figures mark a clear decrease in active cases, infections and deaths.
The number of kiosks for tests in CDMX decreases
The Mexico City government reported that three free testing macrokiosks stopped providing service as of March 5. These are the modules located in the Miguel Hidalgo Territorial Unit and the one in the Tláhuac esplanade, both in the Tláhuac mayor’s office, while the third is in the Ethiopia Metro station.
As of this week, anyone who requires a free COVID-19 test can go to one of the 117 health centers in the capital or one of the six macrokiosks that still provide service from Monday to Saturday.
