The data raises to 21,874,324 the number of people infected by the disease since the beginning of the pandemic in the country. Yesterday (5), the statistics panel marked 21,862,458 accumulated cases.
Deaths from the new coronavirus throughout the pandemic exceed 609 thousand. Within 24 hours, health authorities notified 328 new deaths, totaling 609,388. Yesterday, the information panel marked 609,060 accumulated kills.
The balance also showed 202,718 patients in follow-up and 21,061,218 recovered from the disease.
States
The states with the most deaths are: São Paulo (152,516), Rio de Janeiro (68,494), Minas Gerais (55,746), Paraná (40,611) and Rio Grande do Sul (35,628).
The units of the Federation with the fewest deaths are Acre (1,845), Amapá (1993), Roraima (2,035), Tocantins (3,887) and Sergipe (6,033).
