Covid-19: Brazil has 30.5 million cases and 664 thousand deaths

The Ministry of Health released today (9), in Brasília, new figures on the covid-19 pandemic in the country. According to the daily survey, Brazil has, in the accumulated, 30.5 million confirmed cases of the disease and 664,000 registered deaths.Covid-19: Brazil has 9,700 new cases and 53 deaths in 24 hours

The occurrences of recovered patients total 29.6 million (97% of cases). In the last 24 hours, the ministry recorded 9,700 new cases and 53 deaths.

Epidemiological bulletin from the Ministry of Health updates the numbers of the covid-19 pandemic in Brazil.

The state of São Paulo has the highest number of cases accumulated since the beginning of the pandemic, with 5.4 million cases and 168,300 deaths. Then come Minas Gerais (3.3 million cases and 61,300 deaths); Paraná (2.4 million cases and 43.1 thousand deaths) and Rio Grande do Sul (2.3 million cases and 39.3 thousand deaths).

According to the Ministry of Health’s vaccinometer, 418.8 million doses of vaccines against covid-19 have already been applied, of which 175 million (first dose) and 155.7 million (second dose); in addition to 77.5 million (booster dose) and 2.1 million (second booster dose).
