Covid-19 Balance: Minsal reports 14,870 active cases and national positivity of 8.10% in the last 24 hours

The Ministry of Health (Minsal) delivered a new report regarding the situation of Covid-19 in the country, with 1,873 new cases, of which 1,292 correspond to symptomatic people, 182 without symptoms and 399 to Positive PCR tests that were not notified. .

In addition to the Laboratory Network and diagnostic capacity, the results of 19,870 PCR tests were reported, reaching a total of 45,040,025 analyzed nationwide to date.

On the other hand, the national positivity in the last 24 hours reached 8.10% and in the Metropolitan Region it is 7.83%.

Thus, the total number of people who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the country reaches 4,612,278. Of that total, 14,870 patients are in the active stage. The recovered cases are 4,526,901.

As for the deaths, according to the information provided by the DEIS, in the last 24 hours, 2 deaths were registered. In this way, the total number of deceased amounts to 61,087 in the country.

Regarding hospitalized people, 131 are in Intensive Care Units, of which 81 are supported by mechanical ventilation. In relation to the Integrated Health Network, there is a total of 301 critical beds available.

According to the sampling, the regions with the highest positivity in the last week are O’Higgins, Biobío, La Araucanía and Maule.
