COVID-19: 839 infections and 11 deaths are recorded in 24 hours

The incidence rate of accumulated cases is 4,354.7 per 100,000 inhabitants, while the distribution by sex, in confirmed deaths, shows a male predominance of 62%. The median age is 64 years.

The entities with the most infections are Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Tabasco, San Luis Potosí, Veracruz, Puebla and Sonora. Together, they make up 64% of the accumulated cases in the country.

In addition, there are 683,644 suspected cases of COVID-19 in the country, 9,249,826 have tested negative, and it is estimated that there are 15,599,685 active cases.

Until April 1, 2022, 486 million 761,597 infections (1 million 391,813 new cases) and 6 million 142,735 deaths (4,367 new deaths) are reported worldwide. The global lethality is 1.3%.
