SANTO DOMINGO.- The judges of the First Collegiate Court of the National District sentenced Jesús Pascual Cabrera Ruiz y compartes to 20 years in prison, after finding them guilty of being part of a drug trafficking network, money laundering and hit men in the Dominican Republic.
Cabrera Ruiz was found guilty of directing said network.

It is recalled that Cabrera Ruiz was extradited to the country from Spain on May 8, 2017.
The court was made up of judges Esmirna Gisselle Méndez Álvarez, Presiding Judge; Tania H. Yunes Sánchez, Substitute Judge for President; and Jissel Naranjo Tejada, Member Judge.
In addition, he declared the defendants Alex Emmanuel Nina Rosario and Argenis Cedeño Berroa guilty of having committed the crime of criminal association, attempted murder to the detriment of the citizen Fernando Antonio Abad Robinson, imposing a sentence of 20 years in prison.
Also, it declared Alexander Florián guilty of having committed the crime of complicity in the attempted murder to the detriment of the citizen Fernando Antonio Abad Robinson, and imposed a sentence of 15 years in prison.
