The leaders celebrated the results of the IV Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Central American Integration System (SICA) and the Caribbean Community (Caricom), and welcomed Panama’s initiative to host the 22 countries of those blocs next May 3, to define a regional proposal for economic reactivation to present to the G20, the United Nations and the Summit of the Americas.

The three leaders welcomed the establishment of the 2022-2024 Action Plan of the Cooperation Pillar of the ADD that will allow, without leaving anyone behind, to strengthen ties between members, build better conditions for the well-being of people and promote compliance with the Sustainable Development Goals.

The three presidents positively valued the participation of the United States in this Summit, “as one more step towards the consolidation of a strategic association with the countries that make up the ADD.”
Likewise, they promised that the next meeting of the Alliance will be held in September within the framework of the 77th United Nations General Assembly”, concludes the Declaration of San José.
