The Ministry of Health reported this Monday 44 deaths from coronavirus and 61,903 infections in the last week in Argentina.
According to the data released, the number of deaths rose 12% compared to last week, when 39 deaths had been reported.
Regarding infections, this figure represents a decrease of 0.57% compared to the previous part, published on December 11 (62,261).
In this way, there are 130,124 officially registered deaths at the national level and 9,891,139 infected since the start of the pandemic.
The health portfolio indicated that there are 411 hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of occupancy of adult beds in the public and private sectors, for all pathologies, of 40.9% in the country.
During the last week, 20 people died in the province of Buenos Aires, 4 in the city of Buenos Aires, 2 in Chaco, 4 in Entre Ríos, 1 in Neuquén, 3 in Río Negro, 1 in Salta, 1 in San Luis, 5 in Santa Fe, 2 in Tierra del Fuego, and 1 in Tucumán.
According to the Public Vaccination Monitor, the total number of doses applied amounts to 112,049,802, of which 41,073,706 received one dose, 37,930,992 both, 3,162,437 an additional one, 22,028,626 the first booster, 6,928,928 the second, and 920,567 the third, while the vaccines distributed to the jurisdictions reach 120,260,942 and those donated to 5,083,000.
