Cuba identified this Friday 64 infections due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus. 1985 samples were processed with 3.2% positivity, according to the information on the epidemiological situation issued this day by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Havana (15) reported the highest figures and all provinces reported COVID-19 patients. They are followed by Camagüey (seven), Matanzas (six) and Las Tunas (six).
Of the positive samples, 55 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases and in six individuals the cause of the infection was not specified. Three was the number of imported cases.

Clinical discharges totaled 43 while 503 people remained admitted, of which 268 were confirmed active cases, both figures increased in relation to the previous day. Two people remained bedridden in intensive care.
By age, the group made up of those under 20 years old had 33 patients; 18 corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years, five to 40 to 59 years and eight were over 60.
The fatalities of COVID-19 continue to add up to 8,529 since no deaths were reported this day either. The lethality is 0.77%.
