Mexico reports 31,173 new cases of Covid-19 and 71 deaths

The Health Secretary (Ssa) updated this Saturday to 6 million 439,616 the official number of cases of Covid-19 that have been confirmed in Mexico so far in the pandemic. The total death toll rose to 326,491, the agency reported.

These numbers imply that at the cut of this day, 32,173 infections were confirmed in the country, in addition to 71 deaths, according to the daily technical report.

There are 255,443 active cases registered (those who presented the first symptoms in the recent 14 days and are still contagious), with an incidence rate of 196.3 among 100,000 inhabitants. A total of 265,991 active cases are estimated.

The 10 states with the highest incidence rates are Mexico City (leader in accumulated cases), Colima, Querétaro, Baja California Sur, Tabasco, Sinaloa, San Luis Potosí, Nuevo León, Yucatán and Coahuila, in that order.
