Cuba reported 66 infections of the SARS-CoV-2 virus this Thursday, according to the part you publish today the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP). However, the registry lacks data from Holguín, which in recent days has marked the highest figures, with twenty patients daily.
2071 samples were processed for a positivity of 3.2%. Of the positive ones, 57 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases while four added the patients in whom the cause of the infection was not specified. Five add the imported ones.

The largest numbers come this day from the provinces of Camagüey (13) and Guantánamo (nine).
In total, 630 people remained hospitalized due to COVID-19; of these, 398 were confirmed active cases. The intensive care rooms closed with five bedridden patients, all reported in serious condition.
By age ranges, although with a decrease in records, infections continue to predominate in those under 20 years of age, with 30 cases in the day. In addition, 15 corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years old, 13 to 40 to 59 years old and eight were over 60.
The fatalities of COVID-19 continue to add up to 8,529 since no deaths were reported this day either. The lethality is 0.77%.
