The preliminary trial of coral casewhose main defendant is alexis medinawill be initiated on September 9 next in the Sixth Court of Instruction.
The same court that presides over the magistrate yanibeth rivas postponed until the 2nd of the same month the knowledge of the request to merge the files Coral and Coral 5G made by the Public Ministry.
This request was being made known yesterday, but was deferred because four of the companies charged in the alleged plot that operated in the Specialized Center for Tourist Security (Cestur) and the Presidential Security Corps (Cusep) to defraud the State, were not presented to the hearing for allegedly not having legal representatives.

The judge ordered that the Public Defender’s Office assign him lawyers, in order to guarantee his presence at the hearing next Friday, September 2.
In the Coral G case there are 12 defendants, including Generals Boanerges Reyes Batista and Juan Carlos Torres Robiou; colonels Miguel Ventura Pichardo and Yehudy Guzman Alcantara; elderly José Manuel Rosario Pirón and captain Franklin Mata Flores.
Those in the Coral case are also Major General Adán Cáceres Silvestre; Rossy Guzmán Sánchez Tanner Flete Guzmán; Colonel Rafael Núñez de Aza, Raúl Alejandro Girón Jiménez and Alejandro Montero.
The defendants indicated in both the Coral 5G case, already unified, are made up of military and civilians, in part with primary functions in the State during the 2012-2020 administration.
