The team of President-elect, Gustavo Petro, This week it began its connection with the sectoral committee appointed by the current government, in a series of meetings that were marked by the cooperation of both parties.

The second week after the presidential elections also showed an air of harmony between the different benches, and even began to clarify the panorama again, already with two of his appointed ministers.
Tuesday the Historical Pact published the list with the names that head the junction, with figures such as José Antonio Ocampo, Alejandro Gaviria, Cecilia López, Álvaro Leyva and Luis Fernando Velasco, and from Wednesday the meetings of the main sectors and their respective portfolios began.
The last sectoral meeting will be held next week, which will take place on Tuesday, July 5, with the Presidency, the National Administrative Department of Statistics (Dane) and the Department of Social Prosperity (DPS).
Likewise, according to information from the Historical Pact, from Tuesday the junction will continue for each one of the 190 entities of the Nationand teams will be formed led by 190 people who will be appointed by the president-elect for this process.
key meetings
During the last week, the elected president held a series of meetings with figures opposed to his political position, but who are key to his governability.
On Tuesday he held a meeting with Rodolfo Hernandezhis opponent in the last elections, and after the meeting tweeted on his Twitter account:
“What are we going to a national agreement? We are going with certainty to a national agreement. Here the change began. Here there will be an agreement of the Nation. Here there will be a joint work table between the northeast and the national government”. Similarly, on Wednesday, while the sectoral teams were advancing the joint meetings, Petro met with former President Álvaro Uribe, of whom he was an opponent for several decades. They discussed tax reform, security, agrarian reform and the pension system.
Petro’s presidential campaign head of debate, Alfonso Prada, said: “The meeting was friendly, very courteous. A message of cordiality towards the country is being built, in which we can show all Colombians, without political, regional or ethnic distinction, that we can build on difference”.
In addition, Petro consolidated the support of the party of La U, liberals, and even part of the conservatives.

ministerial cabinet
The president has also begun to uncover his cards in the formation of the ministerial cabinet. Last weekend he announced the appointment of conservative Álvaro Leyva as his foreign minister.
On the other hand, in the early hours of Thursday, Petro confirmed that his Minister of Finance would beto Jose Antonio Ocampo, who was already Minister of Finance, was on the board of the Issuer and was Minister of Agriculture, among other positions. This appointment was well received by unions, businessmen and experts.
