Contagions over 400 this Tuesday in Cuba. Day without deaths from COVID-19

The infections recorded until midnight on Tuesday by the SARS-CoV-2 virus totaled 439, according to the Ministry of Public Health (Minsap) that on your part today it also does not report deaths due to COVID-19, and the sum of fatalities remains at 8,519.

The Camagüey province (86) is once again the territory that reports the most cases in 24 hours, even with an increase in relation to the previous day. They are followed by Havana (61) and Mayabeque (51).

On the contrary, Santiago de Cuba (four), Granma (four) and Guantánamo (one) reported the lowest figures. The Isle of Youth Special Municipality does not notify infections.

By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age continues to be the one with the highest figures in 24 hours, and today, together with those over 60 (115), it exceeds one hundred, totaling 141 patients. The rest behaved as follows: 97 between 20 and 39 years old, and 86 between 40 and 59.

According to the MINSAP, 622 clinical discharges were notified and the number of people admitted as a result of COVID-19 was 6,084; Of these, 2,184 are confirmed active cases.

In intensive care rooms, the sum of bedridden patients fell to 23, with six in critical condition and 17 reported as serious.

8.2% of those diagnosed were asymptomatic.
