Consumer confidence drops 3.1 points in March

The Consumer Confidence Index (ICC), measured by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), dropped 3.1 points from February to March this year. With that, the indicator reached 74.8 points, on a scale from 0 to 200.Consumer confidence drops 3.1 points in March

The Current Situation Index (ISA), which measures confidence in the present, dropped 2.6 points and reached 65.3, the lowest level since April 2021 (64.5 points).

The Expectations Index (IE), which assesses consumers’ perception of the future, dropped by 3.2 points to 82.5, returning to a level close to that observed in October 2021 (82.4 points).
