The National Construction Cost Index – M (INCC-M) registered inflation of 1.49% in May this year. The rate is higher than that observed in April (0.87%) and lower than that of May last year, when the index registered a rate of 1.80%.
The data were released today (26) by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV). As a result, the INCC-M accumulates inflation rates of 4.27% in the year and 11.20% in 12 months.
The rate of the sub-index related to materials, equipment and services changed from 1.24% in April to 1.55% in May. The sub-index referring to labor rose from 0.46% and, in April, to 1.43% in May.
