Seven students graduating from industrial bachelor’s degrees in construction from the Professional and Technical Institute of San Miguelito, will carry out their first experience in the labor field, for a period of six weeks, through the CAPAC Training Institute (ICIC)
This will be possible since the Panamanian Chamber of Construction (CAPAC) resumed the professional internship program that has benefited dozens of graduating students from colleges and technical institutes.
“In the process, they will apply the knowledge acquired in the classroom, adding experiences that will surely be very useful in their future job performance,” said Carlos Allen, president of CAPAC.
For the Executive Director of the ICIC, Dagma Barnett, this initiative has been well received by the member companies of the construction industry, since it has been running for more than 10 years.
“On this occasion, we began with internships in four CAPAC companies. More companies will progressively join this program that has been running for more than 10 years”, added Barnett.
I emphasize that as part of the safety of human resources in the construction sector, the Technical and Safety Directorate of CAPAC, in conjunction with the ICIC, gave students a talk on occupational safety and health to update them on the measures they must follow. to avoid accidents or injuries during your practice.
