The president of the Republic, peter castlehas repeatedly insisted in his narrative that the Congress does not let him work in reference to interpellations and censorship to their ministers of state. Since he took office on July 28, 2021, only five members of the government have been censored. Ministers of Pedro Castillo censored
The first minister to be censured by Congress was Charles Gallardowho served as the owner of the Ministry of Education. In December 2021, with 70 in favor, 38 against and 7 abstentions, the Plenary removed him from office for finding him politically responsible for the filtering of teacher evaluation tests. The motion was presented by the Popular Renewal bench.
In March 2022, Hernán Condori, who served as Minister of Health, was censored by being attributed a lack of suitability to lead the Minsa. This was determined for having promoted a cervical cancer diagnostic service without having the specialty and for promoting the sale of clustered water, to which he assigned medicinal properties without scientific support. He only held office from February to April of this year. The motion was raised by Avanza País.
In May of this 2022, Popular Force raised the censorship of Betssy Chavez What labor minister for authorizing a strike by air traffic controllers, which caused the cancellation of several flights during Easter. After leaving office, the official returned to her work as a parliamentarian of Peru Democrático —after resigning from Peru Libre— and in August she rejoined the PCM, but this time in the highest position of the Ministry of Culture.

In September, Geiner Alvaradoquestioned Minister of Transport and Communicationswas censored —at the initiative of Avanza País— after being included in the investigations of the Public Prosecutor’s Office for his participation in the alleged criminal organization that would lead the president peter castle when he worked in the Housing, Construction and Sanitation portfolio.
Finally, after being questioned by the Congressthe Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cesar Landacould be the next member of the Council of Ministers in leave office at the request of Congress. People’s Renewal announced that it will present a motion of censure against the foreign minister for Peru’s foreign policy expressed during the 77th General Assembly of the United Nations and the pronouncement made by the head of state over the Falkland Islands.
