Congressman Esdras Medina accepted the invitation of We are Peru and officially joined said bench this Tuesday, August 9.
This was communicated by said parliamentary group to the Mayor’s Office of Congress through an official letter signed by its spokesman, hitler saavedra.
Hours before Somos Perú had invited Medina to join his parliamentary group in Congresssince he currently did not belong to any bench after his departure from People’s Renewalthe party for which he was elected.
On his social networks, Medina indicated that he would evaluate the proposal before making a decision. The invitation letter was signed by Patricia Li, chairwoman of the party We are Peru.
As you remember, on July 26 Esdras Medina resigned from the Popular Renovation benchfor which he was elected in the general elections held in April last year.
His departure was due to “reasons of conscience”hours after losing the election for the presidency of the Board of Directors, for which he presented an independent list despite the fact that his group promoted another candidate.
