The first day of reception of documents for applicants to Ombudsman concluded this Friday without any registration, as reported by the Senate. This Saturday the registration stage will continue, which will culminate on April 2, with the opening of the envelopes.

“Today (Friday) concludes the first day of receiving applicants for Ombudsman or Ombudsman without the registration of any candidate. Tomorrow, Saturday, March 19, the reception day will restart of candidates from 8:00 to 12:00”, says the publication of the Senate.

It was at 08:30 this Friday that the Mixed Constitution Commission of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly (ALP) formally opened the registration of applicants for the Ombudsman from town.

“Here is the opening act, duly notarized. In that sense, heThe Mixed Commission will carry out its uninterrupted work to receive the documentation of the applicants. From now on, work will be done by time and matter”, said Senator Rubén Gutiérrez.

According to the schedule of the Senate, On April 2, the envelopes of the applicants will be opened, From the 4th to the 9th of the same month, it will be verified if they meet the requirements, on the 10th the list of those qualified will be published, while from the 11th to the 14th challenges will be received, so that the evaluation begins on the 18th.

Public interviews will be held from April 23 to 27, and on April 28 the commission will meet to approve the report on the process. and it is estimated that between May 3 to 6, the session of deputies takes place and senators, where the new defense authority will be elected.
