Santo Domingo.-Both the company Aurix SAS, owned by businessman José Ángel Gómez Canaán known as Jochi Gómez, as well as his home are being raided by the Public Ministry after leaving him detained after interrogating him for more than five hours.
Jochi Gómez, son of journalist Guillermo Gómez, arrived at the PGR around 3:00 in the afternoon, where he was interrogated in the office of the Director of Prosecution of the Public Ministry, Yeni Berenice Reynoso.
Jochi Gómez’s visit to the PGR occurred after the Ministry of Defense (MIDE) reported that the “cooperation agreement” with the private entity AURIX, owned by the businessman, was signed on June 23, 2020, but the administration of the State, started 54 days later, never put it into effect.
