The Permanent Commission of Families, Freedom of Religion and Cults of the National Assembly (AN), will debate a special law proposal against Human Trafficking, announced this Wednesday the president of the commission Asia Villegas.
The debate will begin next Wednesday, because it was given an urgent nature.

This law was presented by the deputies to the AN for the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Liliana González y) and Thayde Monzó.
Deputy Villegas highlighted that the Family and Freedom of Religion and Cults subcommittees have held working groups with different cults and faith organizations, in order to receive their proposals in the discussion of the Organic Law against all Types of Discrimination.
At the meeting, the subcommittees presented their management reports for the first regular session of 2023.
The first of them was the deputy Diógenes Linares, member of the National PSUV, for the Subcommittee on Human Dignity and Autonomy of Older Personnel, who spoke about the census of centenarians and more that exist in the country.
Villegas instructed the deputies of the commission, as a task for the second period 2023, to hold regular meetings with the Inass, to resolve specific cases and widely discuss the Regulations of the Organic Law for the Integral Social Development of Older Adults, as part of the accompaniment to the Executive in the design of the precept.
It should be remembered that the topic of human trafficking is used by the Venezuelan right and the government of the United States (USA) to promote destabilizing actions against Venezuela.
