The governor of the Trujillo state, Gerardo Márquez, installed the Commission for the Judicial Revolution together with various authorities from the entity’s citizen security and judicial bodies, with the aim of “doing true justice” and advancing with the procedural issue in each of the cases. prisons and preventive centers.

From the headquarters of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (Cicpc) Valera delegation, Márquez recalled that this commission has been created, in the first instance, to decongest the preventive detention centers that exist in the country.

“We accompanied the installation of the Commission of the Judicial Revolution and we have had exchanges of ideas; I have also talked with those deprived of liberty from the Valera delegation of the Cicpc and we have said that what this commission wants is nothing more than to do justice, as the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, has requested. In these moments all the actors have the possibility of doing true justice”, he affirmed.

He explained that later the commission will visit each of the penitentiary centers to evaluate the situation of those deprived of liberty, the overcrowding and the procedural delay.

“That those deprived of liberty know that the Bolivarian revolution has a friendly hand to do justice,” he said.

Márquez pointed out that the “judicial revolution” has allowed the transformation of 11 laws and that now the National Assembly is in the process of appointing the new Supreme Court of Justice.

“With the humanism that characterizes the Bolivarian revolution, we in Trujillo are going to act. I have told the presidential commission that all the logistical and technical support they need to fulfill the mission is provided by the state government. I feel part of this commission and we hope to announce the results in the next few days”, he pointed out.

It should be noted that the president of the Judicial Circuit, the head of the Supreme Court of Justice, members of the Legislative Council of the state of Trujillo, the director of Citizen Security of the Government, representatives of the Public Ministry, Ministry of the Penitentiary Service, Comprehensive Defense Operational Zone ( Zodi), Bolivarian National Guard, Ombudsman, Cicpc and the Public Defender will be in charge of evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the judicial system in the entity.
