Colonel Benjamín Núñez, implicated in the murder of young people in Chochó, arrived in Colombia

Colombian Migration sources confirmed the arrival in Bogotá, from Mexico, of Colonel Benjamín Núñez, accused of having committed the murder of three young people in Chochó, Sucre, on July 25.

According to the sources, Núñez, who turned himself in yesterday at the Mexican consulate, “He arrived on a commercial flight in the company of two guards from the CTI.”

“His arrival was scheduled for 5 am; however, after taking off from Mexico City, the flight had to return due to an emergency, apparently due to a bird,” the sources said.

The sources also indicated that “after carrying out the corresponding control and verification processes, Colonel Núñez was left at the disposal of the CTI for the legalization of his capture.”
