Colombian-Venezuelan border operations begin

From the “Atanasio Girardot” Binational Bridge, the governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, began full and transparent operations on the border with Colombia.

The information was provided through his account on the Twitter social network, @FreddyBernal, “Today, January 1, we inaugurate the Atanasio Girardot Binational Bridge, reaffirming once again the brotherhood between both nations for the well-being and prosperity of brotherly peoples.” .

He also indicated that “today the will of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and his counterpart, Gustavo Petro, of an open, transparent border, full of brotherhood, peace, prosperity and growth, is being fulfilled.”

In turn, he affirmed the presence of the Venezuelan citizen security forces, such as the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), Interpol and the Special Unit for Cross-Border Crimes, to guarantee a zone of peace, harmony and brotherhood.

On the other hand, the Vice Minister of Public Relations, Juan Ramírez, offered the details of the construction of the Binational Bridge on the Colombian-Venezuelan border.
