ANDRÉS, BOCA CHICA.- The body of a man was found floating yesterday, by a naval unit of the Dominican Navy, in the waters of the Caribbean Sea, near Boca Chica beach.
This is Colombian Carlos Humberto Barajas Barajas, 28, who was naked, with a rope tied around his neck and tied to a block.
The Policeman reported that the victim was identified by his wife, whose name was not immediately released.
The woman explained that she lived with her partner in the Brisas sector, on Chales de Gaulle Avenue, in Santo Domingo Este.
He said that his partner had left his residence last Monday afternoon for a meeting with some people in the Boca Chica area and that upon learning of his death, he went to the place to identify him.
Members of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of the Police (Dicrim) of service in Boca Chica, handle the hypothesis that the fact was a settling of accounts.
The body of Colombian Barajas Barajas, who was born in the town of Cúcuta, Colombia, according to a passport presented by his wife, was taken in a 911 ambulance to the morgue of the public hospital in Andrés, Boca Chica, and was later transferred to the Institute of Forensic Pathology for the corresponding purposes.
The Police stationed in Boca Chica said that Dicrim agents began the investigations of the fact to find the whereabouts of those who committed the act.
