Cochabamba exceeds two thousand infections; It is the third consecutive day that concentrates the majority of cases

This Tuesday, July 19, the new cases of Covid-19 in the country reached 5,733 in the country. For the third consecutive day, Cochabamba (2,029) has the highest number of infections, followed by Santa Cruz (1,474), according to the report from the Ministry of Health. The following departments with the most cases are Tarija (598), La Paz (567) and Chuquisaca (511).

The deaths due to the disease were two, while there were 1,589 recovered patients.

According to the report, 21,143 anticovid doses were applied on the day; so that the cumulative number of vaccines administered is 14,433,897. Of these, 6,266,660 correspond to the first dose; 5,048,157, to the second; 998,652, at the single dose; 1,817,772, to the third and 302,656, to the fourth dose.

This Tuesday the health authorities of the country, together with governors and mayors of the capital cities renewed their commitment to strengthen immunization against Covid-19, in addition to some strategies to motivate Bolivians to come for their dose.
