The Special Force to Fight Violence (Felcv) of Cochabamba arrested Simeón J.P., 38, who admitted to having stabbed to death his partner Aurelia CV, 34, and injured his six-year-old son. age.

This violent incident occurred early this Monday morning. in a home in the Cochabamba municipality of Capinota, where Simeón arrived drunk to wake up the woman and start an argument.

According to the autopsy report carried out by him at the Forensic Research Institute (IDIF), the victim received 25 stab wounds throughout the body, five of them were fulminating for his death.

While The six-year-old minor received a head injury when trying to avoid crime. The couple’s other two children, ages 13 and 16, went out to the street to ask for help from neighbors who arrived at the house and found the woman lying in bed.

Simeon JP fled after committing the act, but was captured hours later by Felcv agents. The Prosecutor’s Office initiated two criminal proceedings against him: for feminicide and attempted infanticide.

“As the Public Prosecutor’s Office, we immediately deployed the Multidisciplinary Team to the municipality of Capinota to begin the investigation. Likewise, we want to inform you that the necessary requirements have already been carried out to reach the material truth of this fact. In this context, the alleged aggressor has already been apprehended,” reported the Cochabamba departmental prosecutor, Osvaldo Tejerina Ríos.

Tejerina said that The perpetrator of the crime was transferred to cells at the Felcv of Quillacollo, where he awaits his hearing on precautionary measures. While the affected minor was helped and is receiving medical attention in a hospital.
