In a statement, the labor portfolio specified last night that the Federation of State and Private Unions of the Province of Buenos Aires (Fegeppba) responded affirmatively to the offer that the Government had presented last Thursday in the resumption of negotiations, joining the approval that ATE and Upcn had already anticipated.
“We are satisfied that agreements have been reached by a large majority. We are going to continue working at the committees committed to improving the situation of state employment and with it, of the State,” said Labor Minister Mara Ruiz Malec.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Treasury and Finance of Buenos Aires, Pablo López, expressed his satisfaction with the agreement reached and highlighted: “Through constant dialogue with the union representatives, we are advancing in our objective of recomposing the purchasing power of wages and to improve the working conditions of the workers, without losing sight of the fiscal situation of the province”.
During the virtual meeting led by López and Ruiz Malec, the Buenos Aires administration made a salary offer of 40% to be paid in three tranches: the first, 16%, in March, the second, 10 percent, in July, and the third, 14%, in September.
