Clandestine runway located and disabled in Maracaibo

A mixed commission of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) located and disabled a clandestine runway in the San Felipe sector, Maracaibo, Zulia, according to military sources.

The commission was made up of members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Caribbean Brigade (Army), which scrutinized the rural property of El Guaco, in the vicinity of which the unauthorized track was located.

The airfield was approximately 2,600 meters long and 25 meters wide.

The GNB detected two clandestine fuel production centers in the Río Chuiquito and Las Parcelas sectors, municipality of Lagunillas (Zulia).

In the so-called illegal refineries, the military located 1,540 liters of gasoline and 1,320 liters of crude oil. The Public Ministry was notified of the procedure.
