Santa Cruz is getting ready to celebrate the 212-year anniversary of his libertarian deed. Starting at 5:00 p.m. this Friday the 23rd, the start of the civic parade at the Cambodromo, organized by the Government of Santa Cruz. For Saturday 24, from 10:00, in the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Catholic Church will celebrate the prayer of thanksgiving, Te Deum Ecumenical, presided over by Monsignor René Leigue. To this is added the central acts in the main square on September 24.
The person in charge of the Citizen Security Secretariat, Paola Weber, reported that the civic parade route will begin in the seventh ring (Cambodromo) and concludes in the fifth, the fourth ring will be the route enabled for the withdrawal of the participants. The programming includes nine blocks where the different participating institutions, associations and organizations are distributed.
For Saturday, September 24, at 8:00 in the morning, the raising of the flag and floral offering will take place in the main square “We have invited the main authorities, the consular body, municipal mayors, national deputies, parliamentary brigades and other institutions that have already confirmed their participation,” said Weber.
On your side, for the same day, at 9:00, the catholic church plans the celebration of the Ecumenical Ted Deum of action of Thank you, which will be presided over by Archbishop René Leigue Cesarí together with Monsignor Estanislao Dowlaszewics (Auxiliary Bishop), Monsignor Braulio Sáez (Bishop Emeritus) and priests and leaders of the Christian churches. The event will be broadcast by Campanas, Diakonia and Radio Betania on their Facebook pages.
Both the Government and the Catholic Church invite the population to participate in all activities.
