Cicpc detective arrested for brawl in a tavern

The Public Ministry reported the arrest of the Cicpc detective Daniel Colombo “for hitting the victim José Blondet in the face and threatening him with a firearm,” reported the attorney general, Tarek William Saab through his twitter account.

The events occurred last Saturday at the GreenWich Bar located in Altamira, Chacao municipality (Miranda) where a fight broke out with the participation of three people, including the Cicpc detective as well as Ernesto Domínguez.

“Said official arbitrarily draws his organic weapon and fires a shot into the air,” described the Attorney General, who noted that the crimes investigated are: injuries in a fight, carrying a weapon in prohibited places, and improper use of an organic weapon.

In this regard, the director of the Cicpc, Douglas Rico, reported on the initiation of a disciplinary investigation as a result of “the acts committed by the attached detective Daniel Colombo, who is attached to the Computer Crimes Division.” Rico specified that the facts are described “in the video that went viral and was spread on social networks.”
