Chikungunya: Essap asks to report meters without covers for replacement

The Paraguayan Chamber of Industrial Safety CAPASI and the Latin American Fire Protection Network LATAM PCI sign an adhesion agreement to promote regulatory improvements in the region and share best practices in the matter, all with a view to avoiding human and material losses caused by fires.

With this signature, Paraguay will contribute in a very important way thanks to its experience in the development of methodologies and good practiceswhich will undoubtedly result in a better performance of the industry by applying internationally accepted standards on: the design, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.

For this unprecedented act in Paraguay, the president of the Latin American Fire Protection Organization “LATAM PCI”, Mr. Carlos Morett, who is visiting from Mexico, was present to sign the official act of adhesion of our nation through the Paraguayan Chamber of Industrial Safety CAPASI, represented by its president Fernando Ayala.

The Paraguayan Chamber of Industrial and Related Safety (CAPASI) was created on October 9, 2000, bringing together the main Companies and Professionals dedicated to Industrial and Occupational Safety, under the premise that “we need to create a national safety culture”, an attitude that goes beyond “simple compliance with the Laws” and thus promote a positive, demanding and intelligent perception towards the concept of security, and the care of people and their property.

The Fire Protection Network of Latin America (LATAM PCI) It was born in 2018 thanks to the initiative of AMRACI-Mexico, ABSpk-Brasil and ANRACI-Colombia and with the support of IFSA-USA.

It is a non-profit association, whose main function is to promote and expand a regional strategy to control and extinguish fires in an integral way through the optimal use of automatic fire-fighting systems in Latin America and the Caribbean.

To date, this regional body is made up of 12 countries and 20 organizations, and the list is growing day by day: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, the United States, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic.

The LATAM PCI Network is clear that its objective is to create a unified voice for the fire protection industry throughout the region, which allows raising the level of security for the benefit of society.
