Police officers intervened two alleged members of the criminal gang “Los Defectivos de las Américas”; who were engaged in cell phone theft at different points of Chiclayo. These stabbed one of their victims with a white weapon (knife).

They are César Abel Castro Contreras (30) and Anthony Alejandro Arroyo Moncada (25) who were accused by Natividad Santos Crisanto (48) of being responsible for the theft of his cell phone. The victim pointed out that this criminal act happened at the intersection of Pedro Cieza de León and Las Palmas streets.
He added that these two subjects stabbed him at neck level using a white weapon (knife). However, he quickly notified the police to start their search. Minutes later, the law enforcement officers noticed two people who showed a suspicious attitude; the same ones who were on board a blue linear motorcycle, without a filming plate.
Noticing the police presence, the individuals tried to flee; however, the Police concluded with his capture between Las Américas avenue and Tumbes street. Through the corresponding personal registry, a blue Samsung brand cell phone was seized from them, which was recognized as the property of the victim hours later.
