An alleged criminal was caught in a house at the precise moment he was stealing birds, so the property owners had no better idea than to lock him up in a cage.
The events occurred in a building on the 5th block of 9 de Octubre Avenue, in Chiclayo, where a subject entered to steal parrots.
The individual was identified as César Gonzáles Cornejo, who was unable to escape and was trapped in the bird cage.
The owners of the property called the police officers, who upon arrival found the alleged bandit locked up, who was later removed and taken to the police station.
