The two special reports posted by the Chamber of Accounts of the Dominican Republic in their web portal, they indicate in the first of three recommendations to manage the recovery of the amounts disbursed in an “unjustified” manner.
This observation applies both to the Dominican Hydroelectric Generation Company (EGEHID)as well as for the National Council for Children and Adolescents (CONANI).
The Chamber of Accounts issues recommendations pursuant to the provisions of the Article 248 of the Dominican Constitution on External Control and Law 10-04 of the year 2004.

recommendations
- The highest authority must manage the recovery of the amounts disbursed without supporting documentation.
- The highest authority of the executing entity is responsible for observing and complying with current legislation; related to the administration of resources, goods and activities.
- Arrange for the preparation of a Corrective Action Plan to adopt and implement the necessary measures to maintain effective control; taking into consideration the observations and recommendations included in this final report, submitting a report to the Chamber of Accounts of the Republicwithin a period not exceeding ninety (90) days, counted from the date of official receipt of this final report, on the level of compliance with these recommendations, in accordance with the provisions of Article 39 of Law No. 10-04 of the Chamber of Accountsof January 20, 2004, and in Article 45 of Regulation No. 06-04 of its application.
