As it was a proposal that originated in the Senate and was amended in the House, the text returns for a new vote in the Senate.
The month chosen coincides with the date of World Environment Day, celebrated on June 5th. It will be up to the public authorities, in the different spheres (federal, state and municipal), to organize the campaign, which can be carried out in partnership with companies, schools and civil society entities.
Actions will include dissemination of information on the conservation of forests and biomes; raising awareness about reducing consumption patterns; encouraging the conservation of Brazilian biodiversity and urban public spaces; debate on climate change, among others.
