Cesfront seizes merchandise from a merchant who tried to force it out through a closed door

Jimani. – The Specialized Land Border Security Corps (Cesfront) seized merchandise that a Jimaní merchant tried to remove from his warehouse, whose back door had been closed in December last year, and is in Judicial processfor moving products through Lake Azuey.

Saulis David Báez Santana, went to this storage place, located near the La Yola Checkpoint, where he opened the rear door to remove the merchandise (plastic plates), even though he was warned by members of the CESFront that he does not do so, until the corresponding court issues a sentence in relation to the case.

Báez Santana, after the warning, returned to the place with a group of men creating chaos, and saying that he was going to “getting the merchandise out of the authority”proceeding to throw them over the wall, which caused two shots to be fired into the air and two tear gas canisters to be launched, after this action they proceeded to close the warehouse door.

In relation to the thrown merchandise, it was transferred to the Base of Border Operations General Juan Pablo Duarte and Díez in Jimaní, for the corresponding purposes.
